Hey peeps, I know I said yesterday but it's time to say again!
And to my shock it's actually on there it's so damn surreal. But yeah 11 tracks are now up on iTunes as our album. We hope you enjoy it, we had a lot of fun making it etc.
If you one of those people who isn't bothered about a whole album then I'd suggest Hunter & Hypertension as some good tracks to pick up.
Alongside all the others of course ;)
Here's dee linkey.
Have a good one, and stay super cool_

What a year this has been, and it only looks to improve. We've released a single worldwide and are soon to be putting up the album... I say worldwide, but it's only iTunes. A worldwide release would preferably include CD sales, but we can't all be multi-million record sellers. Although I can promise that someday you'll be seeing posters of me on the walls of music lovers across the globe!
So, I think I may have mentioned Sziget festival in my last blog. If I didn't then Ill say it now. Sziget fetival, £118 (it was only £78, but went up in price on the 15th) for six days in August. Over 1000 bands including Iron Maiden, Kasabian, The Kaiser Chiefs, The Sex Pistols, Apocalptica and a bunch of other major acts thaIe forgotten. This is bound to be the second biggest experience of the year. Oh yeah, it's in budapest.
The best thing abut this year will be receiving the cheque from iTunes. I think that having hard evidence that our music is good enough to sell will finally prove, to the people I live with, that we aren't a bad band at all.
Gatecrasher is another plus point to this year.
It's a proper dance festival up in Northhamptonshire (Not too far from
High Wycombe methinks, Markie). The live stage includes acts such as:
The Prodigy, Hot Chip, CSS, The Ceical Brothers, Dizee Rascal,
Pendulum, Does It Offend You, Yeah? and loads more. Zane Lowe is
presenting New Young Pony Club, Mark Ronson, Jaguar Skills and more.
The reason I'm going to this one is thanks to Natalie who was lucky
enough to win tickets (V.I.P. --- Yes, I get to hang out with the acts)
fro Southern FM. So, I'll be off on the 24th of this month to that.
I had a nice day with Matt recently. We didn't really get up to much though. Spent a lot of time ripping the piss out of my surrogate sister and her friend which kept us occupied.
Not much more to say now except to Mark. I'll be over on Monday, call me when you get back from college and I'll catch the train ASAP. You need to tell me all about whatever it was you texted Matt.
Much love to all.

Well folkies! It certainly has been a while since I last assaulted you with my whimsical and wholly pointless text!
So, it seems as though rigor-mortis is truly setting in for the late Auda. I always assumed that the whole Auda experience would be somehow maintained on life-support via iTunes, but it would seem that the plug has been pulled. Wait!
I may have spoken too soon! Upon
rifling through my unread e-mails I have discovered a possibility of
revival (of a sort). We now exist on iTunes! Nothing is as yet
available for puchase, but our name comes up in the search... Well,
it's something! New hope has arisen from the depths of the ether, WE
SHALL LIVE ON!
Soulshine should be up for sale shortly at £0.79p
which will be absolutely marvelous indeed! That will pave the way for
the album and subsequently the other singles along with their glamorous
B-sides.
In other news, I am auditioning for a new band! It's on a completely different plane to Auda (more "user friendly") which should be interesting. I'm hoping, if I get in, that I may be able to inject the project with my own patented oddness.
--- Give your lobes a treat and check out Jake Bullet (www.myspace.com/jakebulletband) to see what I might be doing before long. --
I also have a job lined up!! Yes folks, Kris will be
a working man before long. A local film rental place has offered
(that's right, I didn't even ask!) me a job as a semi-manager.
This means that aside from being a till hand, I'll also be in charge of
deciding which films to order in and how much to charge for rental!
I'll also be in charge of the shop layout etc... GO ME!!!
I
have also been offered a job at a resaurant in Rye which is pretty
cool. And if I do ever get a job at Hastings Direct then I'll get an
extra £250 on top of my first paycheck and an extra £1000 per year
afterwards!
This is because my girlfriend's (Yes, Kris in a
proper relationship with an actual mature person!!) flat-mate works
there and if I drop his name at the interview then he'll get bonuses
which he's agreed to split with me!
So, all is good on the Krissie front, and Auda dealings are looking up again with iTunes. Not much more to say that hasn't already been said... Actually there is!
I'm going to this years Sziget festival in Budapest! Headlinging acts include:
REM
Kasabian
Kaiser Chiefs
The Sex Pistols
Iron Maiden
(And someone else who I've forgotten)
Plus there'll be over 1000 other bands playing across the 5 day party!
It's only £78 a ticket as well! How cool is that!?!?!?
I suggest that you all check it out!
Much lovage to yoiu all!

You’ll be lucky, it wa a one off!

P.S. I’m going to bed now, I’ll fill in the rest of this blog tomorrow before 6pm.
Much love!
Right, so I’m a bit late, sorry about that =]
It’s been a while since I last blogged on here hasn’t it. Well... Mark seems to have told you all there is about the music side of things. Soulshine single out soon! With a great B-side for your lobes to gnaw on too! He’s woking his little buttocks off he is... Pat on the back for Mark (I’ll never understand the "Pat on the back" thing).
I bought The Wombats’ album "A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation"
oday and it’s made me all jolly in my noggin, love it! Just an entire
catalogue of feel good music, very summey album indeed! Stick them on a
compilation with Bloc Party, Fat Boy Slim and Yelle and you’ve got
yourself the best holiday CD on Earth! Some of you are probs shocked by
the fact that I like Fat Boy Slim (the rest of you most likely forgot
he existed), but he’s made some great stuff (especially "Praise You").
Just listening to Charlottefield at the moment -
www.myspace.com/charlottefield - They’re not kidding when they define
the genre of music as "other". Really different. If you’re up for a
bizarre trip into the minds of four very musically adept Brightonians
then hop along to their page and gorge yourself on their own brand of
sound cakes.
OOOHHH!!!! Quickly! The other night I watched Carrie for the first time in years and was reminded of just how good it really is! WATCH IT!!!!
Bye Bye!!!

It was a dark night on March the 7th and Auda had just finished their
last (ever) gig for Matt’s birthday bash in Eastbourne. They played
hard and fast (and fucking well I might add). The evening went on as
they continued to writhe around on a twister mat for hours on end, all
the while becoming more and more intoxicated.
Finally the night comes to a close and it’s time for all to go home and get some much needed rest.
On the way back to Baza’s house we decide it’s time for some
deliciously healthy grub so they popped off to a five star restaurant
(They bought kebabs) to fill their bellies.
Now all stuffed and
drunk the trek up the hill was ahead. Unbeknown to the band, they
wouldn’t get to sleep without an ample dosage of pain.
Roughly
halfway up the viscious incline most of the party couldn’t help but
notice the hoards (well... two anyway) of hooded devils who were to be
the bain of their night. One member (Kris, actually) failed to notice
their presence - despite the fact that they strolled right past him -
as he was too engrossed in his ever increasingly wild brain-thoughts...
He was singing ’Feed The World’ in his head.
After an
indeterminable period of time (probably a few seconds) these fairly
large , simple minded creatures sidled up to poor little Krissy-pie...
This next part is unsurprising when you look at how incredibly frail this chappy is.
...
and belted him, really quite hard, in the chops sending him flying to
the ground. Now, Kris has always been rather fond of tarmac, but he
feels that kissing it is a tad unessessary. Especially when the embrace
is formed at such high velocity.
Luckily though he wasn’t all
that damaged (aside from the fact that his jaw had moved slightly to
the left and was causing much pain) and was vertical in no time at all.
The others in the party were, obviously, non too pleased with the
actions of these fiends. In a sign of disaproval the advanced on the
perpatrators in a pretty darn intimidating manner.
Meanwhile
Kris, in a bid to refrain from saying anything that would get him
killed (he was on the brink of spewing out a few obscenely witty
insults), scuttled around gathering all the dropped bags and equipment.
The opposing army of two, fairly large, vermin weren’t too keen on the
retaliation of Auda (minus Kris who was still trying his best to keep
his mouth shut) and proceeded to reach for their concealed knives. That
was a kick in the face for the band as up until that point they’d felt
as though they had the situation under control.
Anyhow, the
aformentioned band backed down. Even now I am unsure of wether this was
a wise or niaeve move as it boosted the confidence of the attackers
no-end, but as to wether or not they really had knives we shall never
know. None of Auda really felt that a stabbing would have been the
perfect end to the night so they didn’t try their luck.
So, while
Baza was busy being kicked in the head (a testement to the size of the
foe as Baza was standing at the time) Tony and Kris fled to the second
nearest house (Lord knows why they didn’t rush to the closest) and made
quite a racket in order to receive some form of assistance.
During the assault on the front door the rest of the band came along to
see how we were doing. Unluckily though, they were followed by the
relentless attackers who had, by this time, procured a couple of 2x4
planks of wood. They proceeded to chase Matt and Mark, both of whom
suffered a bit of a beating.
The chavs approached again but
couldn’t help noticing that Tony was on the phone to the police, this
caused them to leave the bruised band alone and flee the scene.
Just as the agressors turned tail the upstairs window of the house Tony
and Kris had been banging on opened (what timing!!!) and a very tired
and distressed (Kris remembers her to be rather attractive, but he
couldn’t see properly so let’s not take his word for that) woman poked
out her head to see what all the fuss was about. Kris explained that
all was now alright and that she’d missed the excitement.
So, the
coppers popped along too to join the party, but they’d missed the
action too, poor guys (well, the driver was a police-woman who Kris
knows to be very hot), they seemed so down after being told that all
was over.
Now the bruised and battered fellows of the Auda clan decided to continue the march toward Baza’s home.
All the while they discussed all of the things they should’ve done and
would have too... Had the attackers been tied to a chair in a dark
basment somewhere in the middle of a disused slaughterhouse of course.
Upon arriving at the sanctuary of the drummer’s abode they all got a good nights rest.
Kris, whose head was in quite a lot of pain by now, had to devise a
method of sleeping without letting your face touch anything.
Well, that was the night of our last ever gig... Memorable no?
Kx
Well, once again Mark will be having the big multiple of ten... Lucky boy you!
So, the end draws near... Friday shall be our last gig (for now that is... I refuse to accept that we won't, someday, play Wembley Stadium!) and it's gonna blow your minds!!
We had our first loud practise on Thursday and once we got our levels sorted we became the gods of that room!! Strobes and coloured lights etc... will be at our gig (Matt's - bassist from our previous stint as Sui Generis - birthday) so don't invite anyone with epilepsy man!!!
I've been practicing solidly and have become rather good - even if I do say so myself ... It's all about the self-confidence!! ... and I'm really looking forward to it!!
Anyhow, Thursday.. what a night... Much trouble, Mark's little sis is now grounded for arriving home very late without an escort (can't see why though... I used to be rewarded for not bringing prostitutes home o.0).
Tony
said I could stay at his place if I helped him carry his stuff home, so
I did... His mum was non-too-pleased about this arrangement though and
sent me packing.... So it's 1am and I'm a long way from home... What to
do??? CALL A TAXI, DUH!!! Well, I had more than enough cash to pay for
it... Also though, no credit and no coins for a pay-phone...
BOLLOCKS!!! So I had to reverse call my house in the hope that someone
was up... Luckily they were and after a brief chat (which involved me
running up and down the road trying to find out where the hell I was)
they said they'd call a cab for me... WOOH!!! Home free I thought!
Sadly it wasn't to be and I waited, and waited, and waited... FOr a
change I called the operator and tried to chat her up to see what would
happen... she hung up, that's what... LOL. Eventually an hour later
(2:03 to be exact) I called back home... No answer, so I tried again
and again until, finally, someone answered! I told of my plight, I
wailed about my suffering, I even compared this struggle to that of
Moses and the Jews in the hope that they might send Mighty Mouse to my
rescue (I use Mighty Mouse simply as mataphor to a taxi, because, of
course, he would be far too busy). SO they called a different taxi
company. After 5 mins I began to panic, I was going to die here... I
knew it! Half-an-hour later I'd given up and had surrended my body to
the cruel streets of Collington when a MASSIVE seven-seater cab turned
up! SALVATION HAD ARRIVED!!!
On the 15 drive home I managed to
convince my driver that I'd just come back from playing a huge gig in
Brighton supporting the Klaxons and was soon to be on tour with Bloc
Party... Little did I know that they are his favourite band - oh dear.
So I had to give him all of the tour dates and loads of dirt of the
band etc... It kept me amused anyhow and he bought it =]
Anyhows, I got home safe and sound you'll be glad to know!!! YAY FOR ME!!!
Much love..!!
OH YEAH!!! The band I'm in is called Auda and we now have an album track list!!!!!!
Coming soon... a crap version of "The Long Road Home"... Coming later than soon... A good version of "The Same Album I just Mentioned!!!".
Kx
It appears that Mark has succesfully translated my seemingly pointless text! (WELL DONE MARKUS!!) =]
So yeah, 22/23 songs done... Wow, I'm pretty chuffed myself, although I do hang my head when I remember that it's all nearly over. Actually, (the guys won't be surprised by this) I still hold the belief that we will, one day, sell out and play Wembly Stadium!
As Mark said, Tony
and I seem to be forming a rough idea of a track list in our brain cell
while Mark still frets and Baza still mixes. The general idea I have
for the sound of the album is something in-between alternative rock and
pop... Only it's not pop rock... erm... Lets just call it
[auda]*tastic!
OH
OH OH OH!!!!!!! Mark might be shocked to know that I have re-written
the lyrics for one of our songs (it's the only one that isn't done
vocally. This is because it's more of a memory thing... It was the
first song EVER WRITTEN -- by Mark and Matt as a team--). Don't worry
Markie, it's pretty similar... Just better and weirder
Well,
on to me... "How are you?" I hear you ask. Well, I'm better now. I have
just recovered from the shortest yet, by-far, most painful migraine of
my life! I am also still burnt and bruised from a party I attended!
Right, I'm off to do the house shopping!
Kx
P.S. I like that idea Mark, I also shall keep on [Blog]*ing here methinks!
So piggies, the album is now recorded, and so doth come the mixing and deciding which tacks to use....It is a hard life.
There are some tracks, however, that seem to be set in our minds as certain album tracks.... I'll leave those as a surprise though.
This has been a very odd week for me and I can't quite explain why... It wa really normal... So normal that I'm having touble coping with just how overly normal it is. There has been no real weirdness whatoever, and I'm beginning to feel that maybe the powers that be have forgiven me for whatever I have done and have decided to allow me a "normal" existence...
On that note however, I went to a pretencious jazz club last night where I heard an amazing drummer... I was telling Mark about it over the phone... What I didn't tell him is that it is also a fetish club... I will take Matt next time I think... So yeah, normal.
Anyhow... Eveything aside from the Jazz/Sex club has been so incredibly real that I've been spending a lot of time in my head. For example;
If I
were Batman then I wouldn't be too happy with Robin. He's far too young
and sexy and a lot more innocent looking than me, whereas I'm old and
evil looking I did this for the girls and now this young goon is taking
that away fom me.. All I have left is my money and all that goes on
paying for that young gits upkeep and gadgets. Bloody sponge he is. I
KNOW!!! I'll trick him... I'll arrange somethingwith Alfred..No, not
Alfred, he likes Robin. Erm... The Riddler! YES!!!! The Riddler, he
hates Robin.... No, he hates me too.... I have no friends..
BOLLOCKS!!!!
No girls, no friends, just a little leech, sucking my
finances away without a care. Everything myparents worked for and he's
getting it all...
I'm off to Beachy Head....
Yes, well... That is my brain during the normal times.
Erm... Music, that is why I am here.. I like music...
Kx
P.S. Sorry
Hey everyone, Kris has been posting some of the lyrics from some of our latest songs up on his Myspace. And because I think they're really nice to read through here they are! *Also we're all most completely done, in every sense just 3 vocal tracks left and a bit more fine tuning and it'll be ready, it's been such a journey!* So without Further adue!

This must be
The only way
For us to
Survive
In this world
Without pain
Or satisfaction
Just give me
Something more
To remember you
So I can
Still feel alive
There are more
Ways for us to
Give away
Our freedom
The world I see
Is through
A lens of me
I know you
Are here
But you are
What I fear
Most of all
In this life
You are so full
Of revenge
And strife
There must be
Something more
I have to know
What are you
Looking for
Lock away
Your goals
Hide your dreams
From me
I won't cry for you babe
Don't let
yourself become
Drawn back
From reality
I know you
Need something
But that something
I cannot give
So now I will
Leave you
To realise
Your ambition
You told me once before
That your heat was out of reach
And I best not waste my time
On meaningless quotations
Of happiness
That your own life
You must possess
The world I see
Is through
A lens of me

Lead us into the promised land
Lead us to glory
Oh come and save me
Fear dies
The view of
Terror melts away
The fantasy of

Bleeds away
So to say you're
Overdue for war
And that's what
We've come looking for
You don't stand a chance

p.s. - This is only a couple of them they're is plenty more up to date stuff I'll add it as time rolls on me thinks :)
PAR-TAY!!!!!
That's right, we (well, Mark, Baza and I) popped off to Kim's mum's birthday party last night. It was her **th (apparently it's bad manners to divulge a woman's age) and she was loving it!
There was a sangria fountain and a foolish amount of intoxicating liquids. I had loads of fun mixing up various concuctions that no-one seemed to like (Matt and I did though). There was also kareoke - look on Baza's profile and you'll find some pics - which was great. I actually got complimented on my voice after singing Me And My Monkey, the compliment, however, was nullified due to the fact that she went on to slag off my belt... I like my belt.
I was also pretty shocked the next morning, while getting a lift home from Baza, when I was told that I'd spent half the night under a bed mumbling about an eskimo eating noodles <---- BIZARRE!
Well, my voice isn't 100% after all that, but it's no way near as bad as last time which pleases me!
OOOOH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've just made a cake as well.... The guys will be happy to know that I followed the recipe to the letter and didn't make it up as I went along.
I also stroked a cat today... It was a nice cat, maybe I'll invite it in for a coffee next time o.0
