What a year this has been, and it only looks to improve. We've released a single worldwide and are soon to be putting up the album... I say worldwide, but it's only iTunes. A worldwide release would preferably include CD sales, but we can't all be multi-million record sellers. Although I can promise that someday you'll be seeing posters of me on the walls of music lovers across the globe!
So, I think I may have mentioned Sziget festival in my last blog. If I didn't then Ill say it now. Sziget fetival, £118 (it was only £78, but went up in price on the 15th) for six days in August. Over 1000 bands including Iron Maiden, Kasabian, The Kaiser Chiefs, The Sex Pistols, Apocalptica and a bunch of other major acts thaIe forgotten. This is bound to be the second biggest experience of the year. Oh yeah, it's in budapest.
The best thing abut this year will be receiving the cheque from iTunes. I think that having hard evidence that our music is good enough to sell will finally prove, to the people I live with, that we aren't a bad band at all.
Gatecrasher is another plus point to this year.
It's a proper dance festival up in Northhamptonshire (Not too far from
High Wycombe methinks, Markie). The live stage includes acts such as:
The Prodigy, Hot Chip, CSS, The Ceical Brothers, Dizee Rascal,
Pendulum, Does It Offend You, Yeah? and loads more. Zane Lowe is
presenting New Young Pony Club, Mark Ronson, Jaguar Skills and more.
The reason I'm going to this one is thanks to Natalie who was lucky
enough to win tickets (V.I.P. --- Yes, I get to hang out with the acts)
fro Southern FM. So, I'll be off on the 24th of this month to that.
I had a nice day with Matt recently. We didn't really get up to much though. Spent a lot of time ripping the piss out of my surrogate sister and her friend which kept us occupied.
Not much more to say now except to Mark. I'll be over on Monday, call me when you get back from college and I'll catch the train ASAP. You need to tell me all about whatever it was you texted Matt.
Much love to all.

Ah NADGERS it's been a long time. Been a bit shelshocked the last few weeks being the actual proper END of the band, kind of only really set in strangely the Sunday after Baza left. I knew that it was gonna happen for months, but my head some how stopped the shock from being as big as it was. I'd also like to say that the world isn't the same without Baza in all ways and forms.
I've got nothing to do now! Anyone got any ideas? Well maybe I wish that was so, I've got to sell the album now YaY!
I'm allmost finished going through the process of collecting the package that needs to be brought together to be sent off to iTunes so hopefully soon I'll have some really good news for ya'll. I may even give a few record companies a buzz for this momentous occasion, and especially great people like EAST Mag and other honoruable institutions so you may see us somewhere.
So I have been keeping myself nice and busy with that, just one or two more issues to sort out and we'll be well away !!!!!!
So you guys deserve BIG NEWS. especially if you've been lovely enough to read this far.
Our FIRST single will be "Soulshine" which is wicked. We hope to have this released within the next 3 Weeks if all goes to plan so we'll confer then. "Soulshine" will come with an unfeatured b-side called "Dissapear" which is a nice little number so we look foward to that coming out.
Secondly I can reveal the album playlist. The album is called "The Long Road Home" and will be released under Baza Recordings a week after the "Soulshine Single". So without any further adue - here it is:
01 - Contact Lens
02 - Red World
03 - Soulshine
04 - The Elect
05 - Hunter
06 - Deja Vu
07 - Forget Me Not
08 - Hypertension
09 - Tired Of The Weekend
10 - Athesia
11 - Imperious

It was a dark night on March the 7th and Auda had just finished their
last (ever) gig for Matt’s birthday bash in Eastbourne. They played
hard and fast (and fucking well I might add). The evening went on as
they continued to writhe around on a twister mat for hours on end, all
the while becoming more and more intoxicated.
Finally the night comes to a close and it’s time for all to go home and get some much needed rest.
On the way back to Baza’s house we decide it’s time for some
deliciously healthy grub so they popped off to a five star restaurant
(They bought kebabs) to fill their bellies.
Now all stuffed and
drunk the trek up the hill was ahead. Unbeknown to the band, they
wouldn’t get to sleep without an ample dosage of pain.
Roughly
halfway up the viscious incline most of the party couldn’t help but
notice the hoards (well... two anyway) of hooded devils who were to be
the bain of their night. One member (Kris, actually) failed to notice
their presence - despite the fact that they strolled right past him -
as he was too engrossed in his ever increasingly wild brain-thoughts...
He was singing ’Feed The World’ in his head.
After an
indeterminable period of time (probably a few seconds) these fairly
large , simple minded creatures sidled up to poor little Krissy-pie...
This next part is unsurprising when you look at how incredibly frail this chappy is.
...
and belted him, really quite hard, in the chops sending him flying to
the ground. Now, Kris has always been rather fond of tarmac, but he
feels that kissing it is a tad unessessary. Especially when the embrace
is formed at such high velocity.
Luckily though he wasn’t all
that damaged (aside from the fact that his jaw had moved slightly to
the left and was causing much pain) and was vertical in no time at all.
The others in the party were, obviously, non too pleased with the
actions of these fiends. In a sign of disaproval the advanced on the
perpatrators in a pretty darn intimidating manner.
Meanwhile
Kris, in a bid to refrain from saying anything that would get him
killed (he was on the brink of spewing out a few obscenely witty
insults), scuttled around gathering all the dropped bags and equipment.
The opposing army of two, fairly large, vermin weren’t too keen on the
retaliation of Auda (minus Kris who was still trying his best to keep
his mouth shut) and proceeded to reach for their concealed knives. That
was a kick in the face for the band as up until that point they’d felt
as though they had the situation under control.
Anyhow, the
aformentioned band backed down. Even now I am unsure of wether this was
a wise or niaeve move as it boosted the confidence of the attackers
no-end, but as to wether or not they really had knives we shall never
know. None of Auda really felt that a stabbing would have been the
perfect end to the night so they didn’t try their luck.
So, while
Baza was busy being kicked in the head (a testement to the size of the
foe as Baza was standing at the time) Tony and Kris fled to the second
nearest house (Lord knows why they didn’t rush to the closest) and made
quite a racket in order to receive some form of assistance.
During the assault on the front door the rest of the band came along to
see how we were doing. Unluckily though, they were followed by the
relentless attackers who had, by this time, procured a couple of 2x4
planks of wood. They proceeded to chase Matt and Mark, both of whom
suffered a bit of a beating.
The chavs approached again but
couldn’t help noticing that Tony was on the phone to the police, this
caused them to leave the bruised band alone and flee the scene.
Just as the agressors turned tail the upstairs window of the house Tony
and Kris had been banging on opened (what timing!!!) and a very tired
and distressed (Kris remembers her to be rather attractive, but he
couldn’t see properly so let’s not take his word for that) woman poked
out her head to see what all the fuss was about. Kris explained that
all was now alright and that she’d missed the excitement.
So, the
coppers popped along too to join the party, but they’d missed the
action too, poor guys (well, the driver was a police-woman who Kris
knows to be very hot), they seemed so down after being told that all
was over.
Now the bruised and battered fellows of the Auda clan decided to continue the march toward Baza’s home.
All the while they discussed all of the things they should’ve done and
would have too... Had the attackers been tied to a chair in a dark
basment somewhere in the middle of a disused slaughterhouse of course.
Upon arriving at the sanctuary of the drummer’s abode they all got a good nights rest.
Kris, whose head was in quite a lot of pain by now, had to devise a
method of sleeping without letting your face touch anything.
Well, that was the night of our last ever gig... Memorable no?

41 blogs and i didnt do one.
i guess i couldnt and never will quite match the genius that is Mark, Kris and Baza...
’lol’
well, that is that, Baza goes in under 48 hours
Mark motors through foundation art ready for university in september
Kris continues to do shit all..Perfectly i might add
And i, well i move foreward having learnt much
for all of you MILLIONS who read these blogs...i would like to say that i have never in my entire life learnt so much about something i thought i knew everything about. Mark taught me to write music, kris taught me that the louder you sing and the more often you do it, the better you get (like talking to french people), and Baza, well baza taught me you can lay in bed as much as you want and still manage to get everything done.
To be honest auda, that was something, no-one cared, no-one ever will, but we made an impact on ourselves, kind of like Hugh Grants floppy hair made an impact on everyone in the cinema watching Notting Hill over the age of 40. I feel im starting to rant and it runs the risk of getting emotional from this point onwards. I never did do this because i never thought i couldn’t stomach it, and i pick the most emotional climax to do one.
The time has come my friends, there
must be something special to mark the end. there is no encore to play
but marks, only the vast empty space ahead.
a wish list longer than you’ve ever seen
our lives will become something we cannot dream
Maybe we will never reach that place we call fame
thankyou boys, i am better, i am Imperious.
For auda and for the end
"Fate brought us together that day, so come what may we’ll be together always"
Right firstly I'd just like to state what happened to me last week... Well to put it short I wasn't here, and I didn't get back to Friday. Which has left you all with a week of no Mark bloggind which must of been a pleasure!
So to put it as long as possible! I managed to travel around the country last two weeks, here's where I've been in order - Clapham Junction, Farnham, Chesterfield, Dronfield, Matlock, Farsham, Sheffield, Leicester, Nottingham and lastly High Wycombe. If it counts then I drove round Birmingham.
Greatest thing of all is that I got to come back to Bexhill~on~Sea for a couple of hours... Woo for me *You have to live here to understand the crappiness*.
What to say really? Ermm, I've listened to a few new tracks and they're sounding okay, which is good. We still need to actually organise the album yet, and time's running short as we've only got 2 more weeks... It's unfortunate but we won't be able to release it until Baza's in Australia which sucks major balls, and we also won't be having a CD release until Kris has developed some monies some how. *But me and him have a cunning plan, which involves playing some Bluesy gigs, more will come of our plan soon me thinks*
Well how are you anyway? Done anything exciting.... I have, as you can tell from the long list of places I've been too in just over a week! So baffle us with your current toils and listen to Auda when you can be bothered.
Ooo and what do you think of the new music? I don't think I've blogged since it's been put up so nows the time to ask!
Much Love_
xx
p.s. - Vox is better than myspace...
I figured I'd stick this little tune up for you guys! It's not completely mixed yet, but it's coming along just fine.
Actually, this is one of my favourites aswell.
So, fresh from the [auda]*archives, here is "Tired of the Weekend"!
